TAZA NATIONAL PARK

Created on 3 November 1984 on an area of 3807 hectares, the Taza Park opens on the Mediterranean with a distance of 9 kilometers of coastline, beaches and spectacular cornices.
It is the only listed area with pure and mixed oak, zeen oak, afares oak and cork oak.
It is also the one with the highest afforestation rate in Algeria, with a high biological diversity.
The site is rich with wildlife including Monkey Maggot, Kabyle Nuthatch, Red Fox, raptors and water birds.
