Ilizi

The province of Illizi (Illizi, Tifinagh: ⵉⵍⵍⵉⵣⵉ and French: Illizi) is located in the south-east of Algeria, 1758.5451 km from the country's capital and covers an area of 284,618 km 2 (one of nine of the area of Algeria). The state is bordered by Ouargla to the north, Tamanrasset to the west and three countries to the east are Tunisia (25 km), Libya (950 km) and Niger (100 km).

The closest municipalities to the state headquarters are In Amenas municipality (239 km) and the municipality of Omar Idriss (720 km). The nearest headquarters of the Federated State of Ouargla is 1050 km away.
