GOURAYA NATIONAL PARK

Created on November 3, 1984, the Gouraya is the last buttress of the Kabyle limestone chain, spread over an area of 2,080 hectares and represents a reservoir of biodiversity.
It is characterized by natural sites and landscapes of unique cliffs in Algeria; a marine section stretching about 11.5 km in the remarkable bay of Bejaia and a lake environment of 2.5 hectares.
There are also important historical and archaeological monuments.
