The summer festival season might be winding down, but the memories made are still coming in strong. When all the festivities were in full swing, Last.fm caught the action happening over at the 52nd annual Festival d'été de Québec.
The 11-day event took place in Quebec City, Canada from 4 to 14 July 2019. Headliners this year included Imagine Dragons, Twenty One Pilots, Mariah Carey, Slipknot, Blink-182, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Kygo, Logic, Alt-J, Corey Hart, Live, and The Offspring. In total, over 250 artists performed across 12 live music venues all walking distance from one another. The festival's main stage, located at the Plains of Abraham, is considered to be the largest outdoor stage in North America.
Among the 132,000 music fans at FEQ was CBS photographer Steve Galli. In his fifth consecutive year of covering the fest, Galli reports back with images of artists across all genres--including rising neo-soul singer Daniel Caesar, heavy metal greats Slipknot and even alt-rock sensation Imagine Dragons whose set was cut short due to thunderstorms.
